I had the pleasure of staying at your hotel tor the eveningsof 10th and 11th September and I wanted to thank you for a most enjoyable stay.
The hotel is beautifully presented and your staff are a credit to you. The rooms are well appointed and the small items such as liquid soap and monogrammed bathrobes were most welcome.
I hope very much to return to you for a private visit in the near future.

J'ai beaucoup aimé l'entrée théâtrale du Cavendish, en rouge et or, c'est superbe. Le louge bar est très cosy, on s'y sent vraiement bien. Nous sommes restés deux jours dans une chambre Rotonde, on y dort fabuleusement bien ! Le chic de la Belle Epoque nous emporte. Enfin, l'accueil était parfait.

My wife and I would like to thank you and your staff at the hotel, for making us so welcome for our stay. Everyone at the hotel, the reception, the bar, the breakfast room, and the bedroom staff were most helpful, and obliging in every respect. The service was wonderful from all concerned.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at “ Le Cavendish”, and look forward to our future visits to your hotel.

I am a regular to the Le Cavendish, staying at the hotel two times per year over the last few years when our international festivals are held and even then always give much praise to the hotel when talking to my peers and colleagues in my industry.

I have always loved the hotel and staying there. The attention to the small details have always made it such a pleasure to be there. They make their own jam ! They put gorgeous chocolate boxes as a welcome treat ! They have a kind of 1940's lift in the centre of he hotel that is old and beautiful and quaint. It only takes 3 people and is made like a cage so you can see in.

This last time I extended my stay by an extra two nights as my husband joined me in Cannes and we were celebrating our first anniversary.

This time seemed extra special not because of our celebration but the staff just seem to always go out of their way and deserve great praise.

As it is a boutique hotel you remember people and names as you go there once or twice but what is remarkable is that although they deal with hundreds or thousands of people each year they always seem to remember the regulars.

The beautiful and wonderful assistant manager Ingrid sent up a gorgeous orchid stem that put the biggest smile on my face. Raouf ALWAYS goes out of his way to help me or make sure things are right. Darling Mary is always so kind and considerate.
Siam moved us to one of the rotunda suites for the two extra
nights of our stay which was terrific and really made our stay even better. There are a few more great people their and sorry I am not mentioning everyone.

Anyway, hope you take my recommendation and enjoy your stay in the lovely city of Cannes.

As you must have benn frantically busy with the various comings and goings of the ILTM, I think you should be exhibited as an example to us all of “ grace whilst under pressure,” as the saying goes!
We all really enjoyed our stay at “ Le Cavendish.” The rooms are calm, the decoration of the breakfast room cum bar is chic, we all adored “Maman’s” jams, and I have to say it is one of the most pleasantly perfumed hotels in which I have stayed!

We visited le Cavendish in July 2007. The hotel was excellent in many ways. We had booked the Rotunda room which is their best type of room. It was very clean, beautifully decorated and with an efficient airconditioning and soundproofing. The only small problem was the noise on the outside huge terrasse from the nearby mainroad. But no problems inside. The staff was very friendly and keen to help and in perfect English. The nightshift receptionist was second to none in quality. The breakfast and the complimentary bar in the afternoon was better than most other, more expensive hotels. Unfortunately our car was vandalized while in valet parking at a public garage nearby. The hotel has no insurance to cover the damages, but the management, Mrs. Welter, offered to cover half the costs of repair as a commercial deal. That is excellent service! We will definitely come back to le Cavendish when in Cannes.

We stayed here for 2 nights on a driving trip and the service was really excellent. The room we'd asked for was not available but the staff showed us two rooms to give us a choice - and we did have a wonderful room. The antique lift is interesting and fun and the room itself was large, comfortable, and quiet. The bathroom had a tub, WC with door, and separate shower.
Although we weren't crazy about Cannes itself, the hotel was easy to find, near the train station (but not too near), where we caught a train to/from Nice easily, and central to what we needed it for. The area is busy but you'd not know it from inside. And there's the free bar and snacks in the evening, turn-down service, and more than courteous staff. If I find myself in Cannes again, I'd be happy to return.

This hotel is what others should try to emulate.
From the great check-in, valet parking, welcome drink in the room, room upgrade at no extra cost, free open bar from 7pm, to the exquisite French touches like the old fashioned lift and lobby. This Hotel was simply perfect.
The hotel had plenty of very attentive helpful staff, who spoke English better than I did.
I would highly recommend this Hotel which if you search carefully can get good some good deals.
Can't wait to go back!

We stayed at Le Cavendish for a couple of nights on our Honeymoon ... it was a great base to explore Cannes and we found the staff friendly and welcoming. We had the top Rotonde room which had round bed in middle of room and classic/contemporary feel with great huge balcony from where you could watch street life below. The hotel has an old fashioned lift and retains some old world charm (without feeling tatty). The residents bar is free! ... the perfect place to mix yourself a kir vin rouge before a bite to eat on the seafront.

A week in August of 2006 at Le Cavendish was our second time in this lovely boutique hotel, where we feel almost at home. The location of the hotel is very convenient and central for sight seeing around Cote d'Azur. The owners and the personnel of this small hotel are very professional, friendly and helpful always with a personal touch. We intend to use Le Cavendish whenever we are in the area.

we just wanted to say that your staff and hotel made for the most wonderful vacation service we have ever experienced. And that is saying a lot because we have been to some amazing spots. We firmly believe that Raulph, Ingrid and the other lady deserve bonuses or raises or some sort of reward! I have shared our experience with many friends and on travel websites which will no doubt increase your business for years to come. On a coastal drive along the French riviera in June we stayed 3 nights at Le Cavendish. Le Cavendish is a wonderfully fairytale like hotel with great large immaculately clean rooms and super-fresh spacious bathrooms with both tub and shower (whole hotel decorated in old-fashioned style so decadent it is extremly chic), tasty breakfast and great staff. The hotel is located a 5 min walk from the closest beach which was OK in June, but maybe not in 40 degrees in August. 5 min walk to start of shopping streets. Cannes was a great city with a lovely atmosphere. Cannes had a much greater and warmer personality than eg Nice and I would recommed the city per se to all kind of travellers. Beware though- renting beach chairs in the city is PRICY!!! Grilled fish at "La Poisson Grille" at the pretty harbour is recommeded as well as huge amounts of fresh ice cream sold at several places...
Cavendish and Cannes can definitely be part of an extremely romatic vacation... if that is something that might interest you...

This is a wonderful small hotel near the Cannes train station, five minutes walk from the Palais des Festivals and the Croisette. Rooms are quiet, comfortable and medium-sized, in a renovated historic building with a great antique lift. The real attraction is the service. There's a serve-yourself open bar all afternoon and evening in a sitting room off the lobby; sit there long enough and a staffer will bring a plate of cheeses, sausages, olives or other nibbles. The women at the front desk took care of every need, from a cold drink at arrival to arranging car service. Chocolates or designer lollipops appeared on our pillows every night. I'd guess you feel more like a pampered aristocrat here than at the palace hotels on the Croisette.

This small and cosy hotel is less a place to stay and more a home away from home. The staff are absolutely wonderful and this together with a good location just minutes from the front make this a perfect place to stay in Cannes. The room was lovely with a great bathroom and nice traditional furnishings. The breakfast is also worth having, with great breads, jams and juices. Also worth knowing about is the free bar in the evening where you can help yourself and if you are hungry, food will be whisked to your table - all free of charge! This hotel is just one of a kind, I've stayed in many five star hotels that don't come close to this level of service. Next time I am in Cannes I will definitely stay here and would recommend it to all.

We took advantage of the special ran over New Year's. This was one of the best travel experiences that we've had. The staff were wonderful.
The service was impeccable. The location is great. It was the only time where I was happy to get back to my hotel after a day of sightseeing.

When we came first into the Cavendish we were surprised of the nice interior of the hotel and we were sure that we found a pearl in that town.
Now we lived for nearly four weeks at the Cavendish and we found out that there are many “pearls” at this place. You really make the place so wonderful that we feel like home!

Cannes autrement....le nom du blog est parfait!!Faire une halte au Cavendish c'est réellement autre chose qu'un hotel 4 étoiles!!C'est notre deuxième séjour et j'y retourne la semaine prochaine... c'est pour dire...
Vous etes immédiatement séduits par l'atmosphère qui règne au sein de l'établissement,lieu de plénitude, de détente et de convivialité, ou l'on se sent vraiment comme chez soi...Sans parler de l'équipe qui est formidable, encadrée par Christine,la pétillante propriétaire ainsi qu'Ingrid son assistante.
Faire une pause au Cavendish n'est rien que du bonheur jour après jour à tel point que l'on ne veut plus partir,tellement on y est bien , chouchoutes par un personnel formidable, avec 1 clin d'oeuill particulier pour Emma,la réceptionniste de choc..Maxime le barman et bien sur la gouvernante.....

We have traveled to many countries and stayed in many hotels and resorts. The thing we liked most about the Cavendish is the family atmosphere. The staff made us feel more than welcome, we felt part of their extended family. Everyone is very careing and considerate making a holiday so much more enjoyable.

We are spending a week at the Cavendish for the Rotaract Cannes European Summer Meeting and we love it very much. The service is great and the staff is friendly. Breakfast until 12 am and open bar starting at 5 pm is a great plus too. We hope that it will be the same hotel next year for the event.

We have had a fantastic couple of days here. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome and at home. The restaurants recommended to us by both Ane-Maria and Emma provided us with the best meals we have had in 3 weeks of travelling around France. All-in-all, superb ! We will be returning here next year and will recommend the hotel to our friends.
